LASERFAIR SHENZHEN 2019 Came to a Successful Close

Sponsored by China Instrument and Control Society (CIS), Guangdong Laser Industry Association, and Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology, and organized by Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. and its joint venture Hannover Milano XZQ Fairs Shenzhen Ltd., LASERFAIR SHENZHEN 2019 rounded off in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center today. In a total display area of 22,500 sqm, the show received more than 90 professional delegations from home and abroad, including Foxconn, Huawei, Gree, Midea, Flextronics, Regina, Galanz, Sunwoda, SAMPO, BYD, Vanward, ZTE, TCL, Shinco, FORLiNK, and Tianma and 25,686 visitors in total.

In 2018, the output value of laser processing industry in South China jumped to the top of China, reaching 32 billion, while the output value of laser industry in Shenzhen accounted for nearly 80% of the total output value in South China, leaving Shenzhen becoming the largest city in China’s laser industry. According to the organizer, LASERFAIR SHENZHEN will seize the development opportunities of the laser industry in Shenzhen and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, further enhance the internationalization and brand influence of the exhibition, building a high-end trading platform for domestic and foreign laser enterprises in South China to promote industry exchanges and product technology demonstration, and driving the development of the laser industry in South China.

Brands Assemble to Showcase High-grade, Precision and Advanced Technologies

As a top event of laser industry in South China, LASERFAIR SHENZHEN 2019 attracted 200 famous enterprises, including Han’s Laser, Hymson, HSG, Quickest Laser, Bodor, Tianhong, Lead Laser, Smart Prima, Yawei, Jiatai, Dapeng, United Winners, Yifi, nLight, Raycus, Huaray, Maxphotonics, Reci, Photonics, Feibo, BWT, SUPER LASER, Del Laser, Leijia, Jinshi, and Sunshine laser to demonstrate innovative cases of laser intelligent manufacturing in laser welding / cutting, laser precision machining, 3D printing, laser manufacturing and optoelectronics, and other fields.

It was worth mentioning that the “100-inch Touch Screen Laser Line Scanning and Etching System” initiated by Tianhong in the world adopted multi-head interconnection technology, greatly improving the comfort of the equipment. Hymson displayed the latest self-developed 10,000-watt laser heavy-duty intelligent machine tool HF3015H-15000 for the first time in China. This machine tool, specially designed for ultra-high power laser, can process all kinds of ultra-thick plates steadily and continuously. Raycus brought many popular models, such as single-mode continuous-wave fiber laser, narrow-pulse-width pulse fiber laser, Q-switched pulse fiber laser and fiber output semiconductor laser. Yifi mainly introduced the power battery laser intelligent production line. Yawei demonstrated its 8000W high-speed fiber laser cutting machine and 2000W fiber laser pipe cutting machine on the spot.

World Laser Manufacturing Conference Leads the Trend

The World Laser Manufacturing Conference 2019, newly organized by Hannover Milano Fairs, was held on the first day. Nearly 20 experts and scholars in the optical and laser industries and industry leaders at home and abroad including Prof. Dr. Minlin Zhong President of the Laser Institute of America, Prof. Yoshio Hayasaki Expert of Japan Optical Society, Prof. Anand Asundi President of the Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore, Prof. Beat Neuenschwander Vice President of Swiss Society for Optics and Microscopy, Prof. Xiao Zhu President of Wuhan Laser Association of Optics Valley of China, Prof. John Harvey President of Australian Optical Society, Dr. Sergei Sokolov Academic Secretary of the Laser Association Saratov Regional Center, Kestutis Jasiunas Board Member of Lithuanian Laser Association, Dr. Dahv Kliner Vice President, Fiber Laser Technology at nLIGHT, Dr. Xiuquan Ma Chief Scientist of GZ Photonics Co., Ltd and Yang jiang Business Development Director of Bystronic Co.,Ltd.(Shanghai) made speeches on professional technologies in the industries of ultrafast laser nanostructures, femtosecond laser processing, digital optical metrology, laser micromachining, industrial lasers, laser material processing, and fiber lasers, and the development profiles of laser markets of different countries.

Notably, Chinese Laser Industry Community Alliance, Russian Laser Association, European Photonics Industry Consortium, Optical Society of Japan, Optics and Photonics Society of Singapore, Lithuanian Laser Association, Australian Optical Society, Swiss Photonics, China Taiwan Laser Technology Application Association, and Guangdong Laser Industry Association jointly established the Council of World Laser Manufacturing Conference. The Council aims to enhance the inter-connection among members, research and develop the global laser manufacturing industry reports, build a laser manufacturing think tank, and build a worldwide laser manufacturing exchange platform.

Professional Activities Drive Industry Development

Currently, as a gathering place for laser R&D, manufacturers and downstream applications in South China, Shenzhen has relied on policy support and technological innovation to continuously promote the laser application and upgrading of manufacturing in South China. To this end, seven high-end forums were held concurrently, deeply analyzing the development status of laser and 3D printing and industry bottlenecks, and providing suggestions for innovation in the laser industry chain.

In 2020, LASERFAIR SHENZHEN will be moved to the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Baoan New Hall), and the next edition will be held on June 2-5, 2020.
